I already own a microcurrent device. Why would I need this?
Because microcurrent only works one of the three layers. It stimulates facial muscle, which is genuinely useful but it does nothing to the collagen scaffold in the dermis, and that's what determines whether skin looks firm or slack. If your existing device stopped delivering after the first few months, that's why. LumiLift adds RF for the structural layer and LED to finish. Keep using both if you like; most people find they stop reaching for the single-mode one

No. It's warmth, not pain comparable to a hot stone held against the cheek. If it ever feels sharp or uncomfortable, you're low on gel or the intensity is set too high. Both are one-second fixes.
